Ruby Parker’s career in the healing arts spans over 20 years and includes work as a massage therapist, Reiki master, personal counselor, and Energy Medicine practitioner focused on the connection of mind, body and soul. Ruby is Assistant Director of Alternative and Complementary Health at The Sanctuary at Sedona. A graduate of the Four Winds with master certification in Energy Medicine, she is also part of the faculty of the Light Body School.

Since 2006 Scott Wheeler has trained in and worked with the ancient healing practices of the medicine peoples in South America, Northern India, and Russia. An experienced shapeshifter, moving from Special Operations flying Combat Search and Rescue, IT consultant, solar energy pro, to a Technician of the Sacred, Scott is experienced in creating and embracing change. Marcela Lobos M.A., has been initiated in the healing traditions of the Amazon and the Andes. She was born and raised in Chile where she worked with shamans that belong to a matriarchal society that holds the wisdom of the feminine and the passion of Mother Earth. Alberto Villoldo, Ph.D., is a psychologist and medical anthropologist who has studied the shamanic healing practices of the Amazon and Andes for over 30 years. At San Francisco State University, he directed the Biological Self-Regulation Laboratory to study how the mind creates psychosomatic health and disease. He is also the founder of the Four Winds Society, an organization dedicated to bridging ancient shamanic traditions with modern medicine and psychology.

Dean Taraborelli has traveled to sacred sites in over 30 countries to study and experience the wisdom of ancient cultures. His interaction with people from many nations has given him insight into world religions, beliefs, mythology, rites of passage, rituals and spiritual healing. Dean is the founder of the Sanctuary – A Life Transformation Center in Sedona, AZ., where he is actively and daily engaged as an energy medicine practitioner.

Marcel Heyder explored many spiritual traditions and healing techniques before finding his life purpose in shamanism. For over a decade he has worked with groups and individuals in Germany, finding deep satisfaction in supporting others as they grow, discover true freedom and reclaim their sacred energy. Jim Dewell A native of Southern California, Jim Dewell is a graduate of Stanford University with a degree in Human Biology, and of The George Washington University, School of Medicine. He was board certified in Family Medicine, which he both taught and practiced. In 1992, he left the practice of western medicine. A graduate of the Four Winds Society, he maintains a shamanic healing practice in Southern California.

Peter Bonaker received his Ph.D. in the field of education from the University of Denver in Colorado where he is currently an adjunct professor. In 2009 Peter founded the Institute for Spiritual Advancement in Denver where he is an energy medicine practitioner with clients from around the world and is the Institute’s Program Director.

Amina Meineker is a business economist with more than 20 years experience in finance, strategy and business development. She loves the clarity, elegance and efficiency of the energy medicine taught by Dr. Villoldo.  Amina is half-Indian, half-German and is someone who builds bridges between worlds. She has a private practice, teaches, and is a business consultant. Her passion is to unfold the great potential of each human being and organization with which she works.

Chris Prietto, RN, has been a registered nurse for 37 years and has vast experience in Pediatric Oncology, Emergency Room and Surgical nursing, Myofascial Release and Cranio-Sacral body work. Chris is one of the lead teachers in the Dying Consciously Program, a program providing a long overdue opportunity to help people from all walks of life assist their patients, friends and family members make their greatest journey one of peace and dignity.

Dirk Zschocke is a graduate biologist, naturopath, shaman, therapist for psycho-energetic bodywork and holistic massage, and one of the few certified Tian Yan Nei Gong teachers in the world. Dirk is the founder of the “Center for holistic, healthy life, expression and creativity – URgesund” and the “Tian Yan Nei Gong Center“ in Giessen, Germany. It is his great joy to see how clients and students develop new flexibility, vitality, joy of life and personal freedom.

Joshua Tree Retreat Center is the oldest and largest retreat center in the western United States and a unique architectural landmark, with most of the buildings built by world-renowned architects Frank Lloyd Wright and his son Lloyd. Dirk Zschocke is a trained biologist, artist and world citizen. Building from this scientific and creative background, he entered into the field of healing work, starting with holistic massage. From there he thoroughly trained and experienced all levels of healing – from the physical to the energetic, including body psychotherapy and Gestalt therapy before joining the Four Winds in 2011. Besides working in his own healing practice and teaching with the Four Winds Light Body School, he dedicates his work to land, nature and the collective, based on intuition, trust, love and compassion.
